Our team

At Multifauna Girona we are much more than a veterinary clinic: we are a family. A family where love and passion is the centre of everything. Love for animals and people; passion for our work. We are always here to listen, help and advise you with everything you need.

We are a modern fully equipped veterinary practice founded in 1988 in the city centre of Girona. Our goal is to take care of your furry family member in the most friendly and compassionate way while also providing the highest standard in veterinary medicine.

Clínica Multifauna was founded in 1988 by Pep and Francesc. In 2022 Anna and Sophie joined the team with the aim of taking the clinic over when the older generation retires.

Anna

VETERINARIAN
L'Anna pràcticament ha passat tota la vida a la clínica: és la filla d'en Pep, veterinari fundador de la Clínica Veterinària Multifauna. De petita ja tenia clar que volia acabar treballant com a veterinària. Va estudiar a la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona on també va realitzar un postgrau en oftalmologia. Quan va acabar la carrera de veterinària va marxar a fora i ha treballat en diferents clíniques de petits animals abans de tornar a la Clínica Veterinària Multifauna.   Durant les hores que no està a la clínica se la pot trobar amb els cavalls o pujant muntanyes amb les seves gosses.

Sophie

VETERINARIAN
Since she was little, Sophie has always wanted to be a veterinarian. She studied at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where she also completed a master’s degree in Clinical Ethology (behavioural medicine). After finishing her degree and master in 2010, she went abroad to work in small animal clinics in England and Switzerland, and in 2020 she returned to Catalonia with her human and furry family. In 2022, she joined the Multifauna team.

Pep

VETERINARIAN
Pep has over 40 years of experience and in 1988 he founded the veterinary practice together with Francesc. Throughout all these years, he has been treating farm animals as well as pets. He has a special interest in orthopaedic surgery, and when an animal has had an accident, he will be found in the operation theatre with Francesc. He spends his weekends with his family and his great passion: horses.

Francesc

VETERINARIAN
Francesc has over 40 years of experience, and in 1988, he founded the Multifauna veterinary clinic together with Pep. He began working with all kinds of animals, but upon founding the clinic, he focused solely on companion animals. He has a special interest in orthopaedics, and when a dog or cat arrives with a fracture or a tendon rupture, he can be found in the operating theatre with Pep.

Lur

VETERINARIAN ASSISTANT
La Lur és la primera persona que trobareu quan entreu a la clínica. Forma part de la família Multifauna des de fa més de trenta anys. Ella us pot aconsellar sobre complements de la botiga i dietes. També us donarà hora per visites o cirurgies. A part d’estar a la recepció, ajuda amb les cirurgies i hospitalitzacions, així com aguantant i reconfortant els animals que no els agrada gaire que els punxin. Als caps de setmana la pots veure passejant pels voltants amb els seus gossos, Fito i Petit.
